BIOGRAPHY

Theatre of Fools’ founders Lloyd Brant and Rosie Cole met in Spring Green, Wisconsin while apprentices at The Valley Studio, which the New York Times called the center of mime training in the country. After finishing their training, they formed Theatre of Fools and toured their unique brand of absurd theatrics to festivals all over the USA and across the globe. In recent years thanks to the generous support of a series of grant awards from the Minnesota State Arts Board, they developed a series of master stage works exploring the fool and clown’s role in healing the human heart. When on-the-road Lloyd and Rosie live in an Airstream trailer with their pet chickens Maybelle and Dolly.
